Meet Our Executive Director
Dr. Tracy R. Powell
Dr. Tracy R. Powell is the Executive Director of Tomorrow’s Leaders, LLC, a youth development organization committed to empowering students, strengthening families, and building resilient communities across South Carolina. A South Carolina native and proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Dr. Powell has spent her career championing leadership, education, and equitable opportunities for young people.
With more than 20 years of experience in public health leadership, executive coaching, and community engagement, Dr. Powell brings a unique blend of compassion, strategy, and service to her work. She is a nationally recognized executive coach, leadership strategist, author, and speaker whose mission is to help individuals from youth to executives tap into their potential, develop their voice, and create pathways toward a successful future.
In 2016, Dr. Powell founded Tomorrow’s Leaders, LLC to address a critical need: giving young people the tools, support, and confidence they need to thrive. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded its reach through scholarship programs, leadership training, mentorship initiatives, and partnerships with schools and community organizations. In 2023 alone, Tomorrow’s Leaders served more than 2,500 residents, with a goal of reaching 5,000 students regionally by 2025.
A passionate advocate for youth success, Dr. Powell believes that when communities invest in their young people, everyone wins. Her work is grounded in the belief that leadership is not about titles—it’s about character, service, and courage. Through Tomorrow’s Leaders, LLC, she is dedicated to creating opportunities that help students discover their strengths, build confidence, and step boldly into their future.
